Don't tell anyone, only a little more spending on baked goods and she wouldn't have interfered with human society. Ah well.

Oh Elma. Your coworkers gave you very sensible and reasonable ways to spend those funds and you shred it.
yeah that is my main issue. Or she could have spent it all on food for a single meal, considering she has yet to ever eat until she is full for even one meal. Would be nice to see her satiated at least once.

Though I suppose that sum was not enough for that.

I keep forgetting how little money a hundred million yen is.
Like she only won like 3 million dollars, which in today's economy gets you a nice house.
Or a very thin cut of A5 Wagyu

Yeah . . . although, exchange rate can be misleading. For instance, I'm pretty sure Japanese property is not nearly as ridiculously priced as American or Canadian.

Should have given me frfr. I'd buy 100 Elma figurines straight away. Totally wisest way of spending lottery money.

That amount of money is crazy. It’s enough to no need to work anymore for lifetime

Exactly.
People seems to forget because it's not the focus of this spin off BUT she's a dragon with magic power. A spell that could potentially restore the lottery ticket should exist and she should be able to use it.
I do understand that's it's not the theme of this chapter but...

Money doesn't make you happy. It just makes you a little less miserable than others.
"So stay poor, you're better off that way."
Eat the rich.

Money doesn't buy happiness, it's true. But the relieving of the pressures of crushing debt and being a corporate wage slave are better for your health, mentally and physically. You then have the time and the space to find actual happiness.

That's why it makes you a little less miserable than others, because it draws the negative attention of others, which balances out any happiness you might have gained by becoming paranoid, distrustful of others, and generally more anxious. Are you really happier when everyone knows you're rich?
