Wasn't it obvious that Kobayashi is likely the one descended from the king? But i'd go as far as to say reincarnate of Lux, cause why else would a god take interest in a mortal? And the both got that talk no jutsu down pat. Takiya is definitely the shy hero boy though. The more you think about it, the more it just makes sense. This whole time, him being the great reliable person he is, is just him emulating Lux.
