I really dislike Ichijou. I think it would be fun to see her eat her words (that she told the MC, to mess with him) if her vaunted government-arranged marriage fails.
Maybe because she's built a house of cards on top of a foundation of lies; then her arranged husband would have enough and divorce her over say, irreconcilable disagreement on having children.

Oh boy, what if this is the next long arc to further delay resolution of the main conflict? /s

She's smug for now since she thinks she has the one up on him since she thinks of herself as a big catch and it's Motoi's fault for missing the opportunity but the final nail to her character will be her witnessing how happy Motoi will be with his non-yukari law relationship with
