no the manga itself isn't dumb, its slop for sure but its good slop, leaning more to comfort food
and by dumb shit i mean the notion of Japan and its manga industry's topics, when people say they criticize Japan, they generally mean the work culture, certain policies and the 90% conviction rate that has gone unquestioned until certain cases pop up among other things that aren't really the scope or the point of this comment, none of those would include the topics in the manga industry as every country has always made media that not everyone will agree with.

While I love Horimiya, I am conflicted with the "I support you drawing porn" stuff.
I thought that the way sex was shown on her previous work pretty sweet and innocent.
Now on this one, we are shown a guy who wears the façade of a shy and pure boy while consuming and drawing adult content and that it should be ok because it is his dream(?).
Sadly this is normal there, manga readers have a tendency of also consuming ero content and show pride about that fact.
