I do want to say this, from we see, he doesn't care about his family or their opinion. He had the time to explain to his family during and before his revenge plan to his advantage. This is his childhood friend, and to their knowledge "current" girlfriend, I'm assuming they treat her like a daughter. Also this is infuriating, but the sister saw them to her belief going to have sex and left them to their own devices. He didn't explain it to her afterward, of course it's more believable on the cheater's end. He came home, sister on knee, family gathered apologizing, dismissing them cause he in a good mood, he doesn't care for this family. That dad however is fucked for that punch, saving grace it was more like a push to the bed cause the MC didn't receive any bruise like how that typical trope work for these.

MC never took any precautions against anyone and didnt even plan a 'revenge' properly this is why this was known as discount Jinsei Gyakuten, it never got as popular as that one. Author tried a more comedic approach but with such a heavy topic it doesnt really work.

After this I didnt really read much myself but pretty sure the cheater duo isnt really mentioned anymore.

Here is what happens in part 2 that you didn't see in the manga:

• Kotone's mom Hatsune was cut completely, her entire plot is very important to the overall story. She caught Kotone and Yusuke near a love hotel if i remember correctly, they we're following the cheaters and pretended to have sex for the 1st time to crush their spirits. Hatsune was furious thinking they really did it, but after she heard the full story she calmed down. Later she told her own story to Yusuke. She cheated on her husband and got pregnant. She had Kotone and her husband didn't know she wasn't his. After he found out he divorced her and left. She regretted it all these 13 years and never had another man, taking a lonely life as punishment.
• A weird man one day bumps into Yusuke, he helps him get to his destination which is actually his school. He is some high figure in education, something like that. He later turns out to be the Hatsune's Ex husband, Kuwahara.
• Kayo really regrets her actions and as punishment distances herself from Iketani and shaves her head bald lol
• Iketani remains a scumbag and uses a sex tape to blackmail Kayo. She is to be pimped out by him basically... But Yusuke, Kotone, Napolitan with the help of Yorita's "Gorilla" boyfriend save her.
• Kayo's parents then decide to move and get her better help as she is mentally unstable.
• Iketani on the other hand gets in way bigger trouble! His mother is some rich heiress, and she disowns him and sends him of to an All boys school in Hokkaido. If i remember correctly she is some kind of Dominatrix and Yusuke's teacher is her toy who loves her. So they get together for real and start working on a new heir.
• It's not over for Iketani, there is some kind of disease outbreak in his new school and he gets it. It's hinted that is some kind of serious STD... So he's fucked lol
• Kayo is also mentioned at the end, that she is getting better. Yusuke and Kotone have no contact with her, but Yusuke's "older bro" Hayato visits Kayo from time to time and keeps Napolitan updated. He is Yusuke's, Kayo's and Napolitan's childhood friend who was basically the leader of their group since he was the oldest. He moved away at some point but still visits and keeps in touch... He is also Napolitan's love interest and it is hinted that their feelings are mutual!
• Going back to Kotone... Her parent meet and after a talk they reconcile and decided to re marry. Both were lonely all these years and he still loved Hatsune and Kotone. They then decide to live together but need a bigger house as they want to have a child of their own soon. So they secretly buy the house from Kayo's family and surprise Yusuke who can't believe that his GF will always be next to him.
• In the end Kotone's parents go on a trip and Kotone is left with Yusuke and his family. Both her parents then give him permission to sleep with her but only if he uses protection lol
• Yusuke doesn't go through with it as he doesn't want to accidentally have a kid at the same time as Kotone's parent to create the same situation he and Napolitan are in. But given how secretly big of a perv he is when with Kotone, he probably didn't wait to long lol

EDIT: Just saw that the author released a few side stories last month, so i checked them out. A few were just events from other perspectives, but there were 3 that added new content after the ending.

• We have one describing Kayo's situation in the rehab center she is attending. She made a friend called Mi-chan, who did the same thing she did, cheated on her BF but got pregnant for real. They bonded and encourage each other to get into better schools after they get better. Kayo still regrets what she did but in the end accepts she has to move forward on her own.
• The second interesting one is a bit more about Hatsune's infidelity. Yusuke meets a woman who is lost, speaks to her for a bit and it turns out she is trying to get to Kotone's house. She mentions she has someone she loves for over 15 years but couldn't move it forward. When they get to the house, only Kuwahara and Kotone are there, Hatsune left. Yusuke is suspicious and leaves to get the drink he forgot on a bench while talking to the lady. There he finds Hatsune who tells him that woman is Ruri and she hates Hatsune for years. She was actually Hatsune's best friend and her brothers fiance at the time she cheated. Due to what she did, her brother felt guilty since he introduced Kuwahara who was his best friend, to his sister. He then swore he would never get married, he doesn't deserve to get married when his best bro suffered like that. Ruri interrupts the story, she and Kotone were listening from the side. Ruri forgives her and invites her to her wedding. Hatsune's brother actually sent Ruri to invite her in his place so they could make up.
• The last one is probably the best ch in the whole WN! I didn't mention this, but Kuwahara and Yusuke are like best friends, they often sat in a park and talked. He is more of a father figure to Yusuke then his own stupid dad lol Anyway they were in the park again and Kuwahara started talking about infidelity and cheating, how he doesn't get it. He even mentioned Iketani, what an idiot he was throwing away his live while having such a cute GF like Kotone (Yusuke's reaction was "Serves him right" lol). Then he accidentally said how he destroyed the life of Hatsune's affair partner. It was pretty much revenge at it's finest... He ruined him so much the guy was exiled and banned from Japan! Yusuke was like "What the hell!?" and then reflects on how he handled Kayo, he thinks should he have done more...

And that's about it! if someone finds some mistakes feel free to correct me and i'll edit the post. It's been a few months since i read it, so not all details are that fresh to me lol

I really wish this manga was supported by the author. I get the feeling it's supposed to be a slow build up to everything. Their relationship, their relationship with their parents, more on the side characters, etc..



This actually reminds me of how I met my wife. My ex girlfriend that I was dating for 1 year and a half. Dumped me a week before my birthday. I was heartbroken. I talked to friends and they all said take time to heal. But I was 27 years old and really wanted to find the one. On my birthday my ex wished me happy birthday. So I asked if she can spend the day. She sad no I have other plans and walked away. I knew then that I was never getting back together with her. I then chatted with a woman that I usually do not talk to. We hit it off gave me her number. But me being me didn't realize until I was away from her. she was asking me out. I call we hang out. A little bit later I found out my ex was cheating on me. But good news the woman I met on my birthday is now my wife and we have kids. Sometimes to get a happy ending you have to experience absolute misery. It's how you handle that misery that defines you. Yeah it's a bit darker in the novel, the only comedy we get is Yuske's pervy thought and sometime comments. I don't remember it even having this "comedy" part where the cheaters followed them in this ch.
