I was getting annoyed at how he almost destroyed it all by shooting himself in the foot busting the fact that she was already healed, but in the end I can't really blame him much when that dumb rule #3 was revealed.

Nothing particularly new, but the execution for this teenage romance was good. Romantic build-up? Dramatic low point? Chase scene? Love confession? Kiss? Dating phase? Handholding? All there. For a oneshot, this already beats some teenage "rom"coms that already struggle with just the first thing I mentioned.

Hate to be a killjoy, but what kind of sprained ankle takes so long to heal? Maybe she tore a tendon I guess, idk, which I don't think she would've known at the time, so I find it odd to use it as a time limit like a terminal illness from a movie.
Also why did he say that thing about her tennis career? What does her having a boyfriend have to do with tennis? It's not like she's an idol or something.

Otherwise this is real nice, fluffy feelings inside.
