If it’s written in Hiragana, it’s her stage name. If it’s written in Kanji, it’s her real name.

In this case, when Fumi calls her by her stage name, I assume he is referring to her stage persona, i.e. that she was acting — it wasn’t the real Ayano.
Thanks for confirming that. Do you think we can interpret it as Fumi seeing through the bluffs?

Ayano's only endgame is just to wait till she herself is of legal age then switch to full frontal attack.

When MC says "That was Haga Ayano", does this mean he correctly saw through her acting and realized that she was just pretending she didn't like him romantically?
If so, I wonder why he ended up going through with being her manager even though he thought it was in her best interest to not be?

Bro did not fall for it, per se. I think he realizes she's too delicate to rattle right now. He's trapped.

My interpretation is that he saw through her acting, but he also understood her potential as an asset to the talent company and how unless he keeps being her manager, she will probably just drop out, or not work as hard. As such, the final panels where he asks for his boss to "give" Ayano to him is because he now genuinely believes that he's the only one that can make her full potential bloom. So, while he didn't fall for Ayano's ruse, she still got the desired effect, to keep Isshiki by her side.

Or it could be the other way around. He may have thought that all this time he was seeing Ayano the actress.

I think fumi has been constantly doubting ayano's intention for a while now, mixing her acting and her serious side while trying to reason her feelings for him, so when he said "that was haga ayano" to me it means that he now realizes how she looks when she's acting with him, i think ayano already knows the risks of her feelings for him very well, but fumi's side still has lingering thoughts from his previous experiences and instead wants to cut the root of the issue completely by removing himself, it would be in the best of interests for ayano to not have to deal with her feelings for him, but that's not what ayano wants of him

Yeah I think he knew, but probably decided to postpone on confronting her because Ayano was about to tweak the fuck out if it continued further

Ahhahahaha, damn that was a masterful job of acting. Well fucking done Ayano. Just give it up Fumi, even if you suspect, she's operating at a level above you.
Man, what a good chapter.
One of my highschool classmates married one of her highschool teachers a year or so after graduatin. I found out about this from mutual friends at an event where there were a lot of people from my highschool attending. To paraphrase her friend in response to my look of concern "Oh, don't worry it wasn't his [the teacher's] idea."
