Regarding the philosophical question of 'is this gay': The author clearly created a character that looks like a girl, acts like a girl, and for all intents is a girl. But he's a guy. Where does this leave us?
We're (most of us anyway I assume) attracted to him because of these aforementioned girly features. So that's not gay. But! We know that he's a guy. Yet we're still attracted to him. So that's pretty gay. However I posit a question: if it turned out Hiura was a girl all along, would you still be attracted to her? My proposition is that if yes, that's not g...only sortta gay. But if not, that's hella gay. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
