@villko05 this is not a romcom, is a comedy about communication problems with romance. There's little romance progress? Yes, it's slow as manga can be, and I foresee the same ending as you as well but, it's strangely cute and funny and doesn't get cringe and frustrating because romance is not the theme of the manga. Give it a try, it's really worth it.

I kinda prefer the slow paced development style here since there is really nothing to be rushed about. I kinda like the way they cover some school events, traditions, story of side characters etc since it gives us an insight about them. TBH the slow progress between Tadano and Komi is somewhat acceptable. You have to keep in mind that they start as an innocent friendship, not like they like each other in the first place. Also the two have no experience about love which is like a first high school love. It would definitely take time for them both to realise their true feelings for each other and thats where Manbagi comes in.

I honestly wanted this manga to be like the manga Boarding school Juliet where it would progress until they get married and have a sequel like the manga Karakai jouzo no takagi san only if the author would like to and has confidence. My only concern is the other readers which is why this is not for readers who prefer a fast paced development style.
To be fair it isnt that slow really since we do have to keep in mind that there are somd chapters here who has like 5 pages only

@Elwellx Progession isn't Porn Ffs ... There is many romcom that advance in the relationship while being funny and wholelesome. Learn the difference ... It is kinda anoying to not see any progression when you are involved so much with the story after 200 chapter ...
People have all the right to complain about this aspect ... If this was only comedy there is no issues. But it's a romcom ... Wich include the world ROMANCE, Romance without progression is not Romance ...
