I like that the author was realistic. This was an actually great series in the romance genre quality/style wise, but if you don't go viral/get popular, it sometimes is what it is when your livelihood and career are involved. It's unfortunate, but the truth, even if this becomes quite well loved. Hell, the fact that we're all here, paying for nothing doesn't help (though it's not like we get a choice for most manga zzz where's the webtoons/tapas for manga ffs).

Thank you for translating this! It's a shame it got canceled when it did, I was reaaaaally enjoying the confession+ bits of the prequel, so these post-marriage glimpses were really nice to see.

Anyway the appeal is limited to the age gap freaks, but the real hardcore age gap freaks are into more degenerate stuff, Sonoda is an adult woman at the end of the day, so the author would have missed that audience too

He could have made Sonoda 10 years older, less of a weirdo, and speed run the story into their cute married life, and it probably would have had a bigger appeal with a more mature and wide demographic, certainly bigger than the niche age gap without a teen audience, but the girl is extremely socially awkward, and the guy is extremely dense, it was appealing to

Man, I hope the current works are getting the attention that they need. I read their other manga (Omoi-san) and it's also as great. This guy is underrated, man.

I don't think it was an idea to start this here before the official story reached this point but I understand that it was an attempt to improve the numbers.

Honestly, the premise was fine, the characters had interesting personalities, but... the execution was really weak in the original, the author did not commit to developing the stories of the costars, and this spinoff didn't break any boundaries, it felt more of the same.
This title needed more characters with distinct personalities, more fleshed out relationships outside the main 2, more interesting paneling and artsy angles/photography, plus more detailed characters and backgrounds.
Of course, it's easier said than done, but the reality of it is... the world of manga is do or die, it's tough, it's brutal, and it will show no mercy (and publishers will be the executioners, with viewers being the judges).
I can only say, thank you for trying your best, hopefully next time the author can do better, learn new skills to be faster at making names and then fleshing them out well.

I mean the magazines aren't doing a good job of making things available especially since most are going for these convoluted models like Kmanga and mangaUP which I'd sooner give money to terrorist organizations like the FBI then give those crapapps any of my dough nothing says user friendly like "oh buy our in app currency and rent each chapter for ridiculous amounts of money" instead of simple subscription services
