And that's exactly what the heroes were doing. That's it that's all I'm saying. Pay extra attention to the fact that I only mentioned the heroes and try to reach your own conclusions. Capturing a castle is actually a valid military tactic and doesn't depend on killing all soldiers, as a matter of fact it can be done with minimal loss in lives depending on what tactic is used.

The answer is simple, he doesn't, he is already female. I think you remember the special ability the Beastmen possess right, the one called binding?
While her ability is not transformation, it's versatile enough that can be used for it, that's pretty much a battle form

Oh that's hard to udnerstand right? Well, the clue lies in his looks. Beastmen usually look like humans with animal parts, being mostly beast means that you actually belong to a differenct race. Don't worry, there'll be a different arc to explain just that, as that race will have a very important villain to represent it that'll show up pretty soon.

I think the demon is a half demon half beastkin. Earlier in the manga they explained that half breeds usually take after one of their parents except if they take after the beastkin side with their looks being more animal like
