@Kireato To everyone else there to try and keep the humans on his side. If he truly cared for his daughters, he would of better prepared the heroes otherwise their sacrifice would be for naught but as we can see they are horribly ill prepared and yet were sent to the front lines. So the only use he has for them is simply as figureheads for the humanity and as sacrificial pawns to further motivate the humans to continue the war if they fall in battle despite the demons wanting peace.
