Ironclad The WN is curiously better than the LN version, believe me. Yes the LN has a better technique, but the plot itself got "normalized". The WN had a less relatable main character(which is not a bad thing because he is not suposed to be like you or me or the people you usually see around, but a selfish and eccentric guy that does things at his pace), but the pacing and his development was far superior compared to the LN, there were also way less cliched situations.
This is one of the few cases where the professionals reduced the quality of the original product instead of otherwise.
After all when you polish a gem more than it's necessary, you end up with a smaller, weaker product
