@rin_rin When people see a romance tag and read a manga for the romance, they usually expect both characters to, you know, know what love is. People hate one sided love. They hate dense idiots who dont realize that they are an object of affection
@Shewy92 if it goes the way you said, i doubt this manga would have character development as much as it is right now and turned into those side story things without actual progression of the world around it (looking at you, gekkan shoujo). just can't think of usa&uchi going out while still retaining the usual cheeky atmosphere around the club.
its not like i'm defending the romance tag or something and to be fair i don't really like the male protag here (his and imari's otaku stuff can get really annoying and out of place, is that intended by the writer? i totally get how weirded out usa & the others when they're like that) but when he drew the real piece of work that is usa, i don't know why did i get a dose of romantic feelings. And also he's kinda important for the story too i guess...
add up with the fact that usami always being happy about everything involving him. isn't that kinda romantic? idk maybe im just really childish.
since i've wrote this much i might as well give my crazy thoughts about how it will end up. did anyone notice the part on chapter 60 personality question thing,
he asked why the question was different and kinda goes "huuuh, is that so?"
, and he's always being like that at every single moment where they might just blow it and go out. maybe the writer is dropping hints about him managed to hide his feelings all this time and the entire people are being hoodwinked. or he's just simply a dumbass and a tool to prolong the manga. and again dont get me wrong, i do like the manga to end a happy ending with the two going out or something, but tl;dr it's a good manga and i like seeing crazy things happen around the club, the prez skipping class to sleep outside, the female protag being shy and all that stuff, etcetc..
and this manga is about middle schoolers which i makes all the stuff i said becomes really weird, which also makes it weird for me to read the manga whenever i reminded about that. everytime i read this manga i always try to ignore that part alone and get on the dialogue/story. i might be exaggerating about this, plus no hate on middle schoolers. it's just seems off-putting.
@havelmom: Mainly because the girl has a one-sided love for the guy who's only into 2D brides. There's a few other couplings out there but this is the main one.
It's a Slice of Life manga, though, so don't expect progress. It's there, but like snail-through-glue speed of progress.
How heavy does the crossdressing factor into this one? Or is it one of those where it's just a chapter or two late in the manga and someone gave it the tag anyway?
@Nami because some ppls are wishy washy of the tag wars right now, like is there any romance or not in the series with how 2 character interaction developed. and some ppls are nitpicking how there's crossdressing mc and talk shit in comment about it and just dropping the series because they think they're deceived
actually there's so many wishy washy in MD more than in aggregator site, in aggregator site they just read then commenting about the chapter, in here .. there's carnage and chaos.. and trollers
Is this worth giving a shot? I've seen the anime and thought it was meh, but I liked the gimmick, idk
Thought the source material might be decent?
I see here romance tag and crossdressing theme, are those like from GJ-bu kind? I did like GJ-bu, but didn't like KonoBu's anime, so...
man the progress of the story and character development overall is too childish for my likings. fitting for the manga i guess (somehow keeps forgetting that this is about middle schoolers smh)
ah well as long as the chapters is still relaxing to read..
