Designated Loser is how you call a character who exists in a romance story to "lose" for the main couple. Like Hina in Blue Box. It has nothing to do with the character being "a loser" or something. It just a narrative role

Senpai exist in this story to fill that role even though she has made it explicit that she's not really into Fuyuki and has some guy she is actually in love with (hence what I said in the post you quoted).

About Erika, I think you are misunderstanding something here. Calling out Koto's shitty behaviour doesn't mean I want her and Aya to split or something. If anything, Erika would better off far away from Koto and Aya's mess.

Fantastic chapter. I'm always happy to see that this manga gets better and better with basically every chapter. It's snuck into my list of favourite romance mangas and it's gonna take a massive fuck up from the mangaka for it to lose a spot in that list (altho I don't think the mangaka will fuck up that massively).

Also, honestly based schizo going off about Erika in this thread just cause there hasn't been a chapter of Sankakkei in months. I wish I could be that much of a hater.
