as i climb the mountain, i asked the guide: “where are we right now?” to this, they only said one thing: “Hit yuri manga There is No Love Wishing Upon a Star Chapter 25". I didn’t need to look at the dawn rising behind them to know: we have reached the peak.
This has to be one of the worst yuri mangas I have ever fucking read. I saw this dog water ending from a mile away and I'm still pissed off. If I could rate this manga a 0, I would.
remember kids, it's all for the party and the pretty dresses, same sex marriage is still not a thing in japan, they barely have the right to rend an appartement together because they are not a '' real couple'' in the eyes of the law, yeah sure, they do '' partnership contract in some cities like tokyo but you just have to move out once out of certains district to be stranger for landlord and hospital won't consider you as family if anything bad happends
A really nice Story, did not feel rushed and I liked the ending took a lot of chapters to sort out the feelings and relationships between the characters.
One question: Who is Shizuka, somehow I don't remember her at all?
The one time where I hoped the main characters wouldn't end up together. I like them both, I like how they are together but I really dislike the whole "I fall in love with people who love me so let's try" thing. There could have been another type of happy ending without them forcing it like this. Anyway, it was a great read. Really looking forward to Shinooa's next one.
This was fantastic. They’ve both come such a long way together.
As Fuyuki implies, a few mysteries and insecurities will linger for a time, but they’re literally married, in love, they're naturally and romantically physical and affectionate, and most importantly, supremely and undeniably happy. We even got a jump into their future with the volume extras. So much maturity in this storytelling.
It’s obvious by now that Fuyuki is the only person in the world who could move Eri this way and spark this depth of love in her, and we’ve known Fuyuki’s feelings for a very, very long time. This was handled so well by the author. And their journey is not over; they're still so young and have much more room to fall even deeper in love together, as they're definitely closer in this final chapter than they were at the end of the previous.
It’s just great closure all around. With this ending, the series easily makes it onto my all-timer list. It’s such a unique, narratively dense story with the kind of character dynamics and plotting you rarely see.
Thanks to the TL team for working on this.
I appreciate that the trio’s friendship survived and seems stronger than ever. I also appreciate that the series didn't attempt to rewrite the history between Senpai and Fuyuki; they were never genuinely in love, and that was made clear on several occasions. They helped each other and licked their wounds, but they were both consistently clear that neither was a real partner for the other. Seeing Senpai happy with someone she actually loves was a sweet touch.
This is also the second all-time yuri I've read where the opening chapter had people scared for nearly the entire series, only for the simplest and happiest explanation to be true in the end (the other series was "On A Leash").
