Can't you read, I said lesbians, not bi or pan or other sexualities. I'm not against story which portraits bisexuals. They are plenty of GL story which has bisexuals and I read them because the story was about them falling in love with another woman, not a dude.
It doesn't interest me if it's about a het love story. She can be straight, bi, pan or whatever, if it's about the nième story of a guy falling in love with one or many women we plenty of that. Authors can write/draw whatever they want.

In my comment, I was precisely talking about lesbians, a character who is introduced as a lesbian, has zero sexual attraction towards men and are not looking to be in any romantic relationship with one.

The thing that is disgusting me is about authors who genuinely put a character who identify as a lesbian or someone who is only attract to women to fall in love with a man. Or worst, force/make them have a sexual intercourse with a man and make them realize that dicks are better than pussies. It just shows that they don't acknowledge lesbians/women who's only attract to other women. It's insulting. And based on the comments posted here about the manga and the light novel, the author is falling in that trope.

If you don't want your readers to misunderstand your characters/actions, make it clear since the beginning that she's questioning her sexuality or she's not so sure about it or has some tendencies to like some type of guy but never try to date one, etc... not making them turning magically bi, pan, straight for the sake of your story. I find it easy/lazy and insulting to some extend.
I agree with everything you said, people have a tendency to confuse things.

But they're teenagers, maybe they don't initially question their sexuality, but start to later on? It does happen in real life. I mean, sometimes people who think they're heterosexual only realize they're not even way later in life. The author could make it super duper clear from the very start of the story that they're questioning their sexuality as a warning sign to any reader who absolutely does not want to read about any type of heterosexual relationship, but I don't think they're obliged to. I can see why you might find a story where a "lesbian" is "cured of their lesbianism with the power of dick" repulsive, but that is hardly this story, is it?
Do you really think an author stating that a character is a lesbian just to later make her fall in love with his self-insert protagonist is just a coincidence? That there’s nothing shady behind it? Don’t be naive, my friend.

If the main purpose of the GL tag is to guide people who want to read purely lesbian love stories with no elements of bisexuality or otherwise, then I agree that the tag is misused. But there are elements of romance between two girls in this story, whether it's to your taste or not. The ideal solution would be to have more nuanced tags, not everyone can be satisfied unless more tags are added.

In this case I don't think it's the fault of the author, because they aren't the ones who put the MDX tag on this manga. They did nothing to trick people who want pure yuri into reading their manga. And I don't think there's anything morally wrong with writing a story where a character initially thinks they are purely lesbian but later figure out that they are bi. Or that represents a polyamorous relationship between two girls and one guy. It would be great if people who don't want to read such a story, such as yourself, were able to find out what kind of story it is before having to dig into it, and I support improving such measures, such as adding more nuanced tags.
You're really naive to think that an author of this caliber cares about bisexual representation or self-discovery....

Since I started reading manga I realized that people are real fuckin' stupid about tags. They're just themes inside the story. GL makes sense because there's literally a girl in love with another girl in it and it's a major plot point. How else do we show the fact that it's a part of the story to people looking for content? Sorry not every GL tag is your imaginary version of it where only fluffy GL things happen? I don't get it.

If anything what we should have are THEMES and TAGS then, to alleviate this whining group. I wouldn't mind this personally though, because how can you tell if an isekai just has a romantic interest vs one that focuses on it in some of the action oriented ones (the tags are the same either way) for example.
I find it really funny how you call us “whiners” when there are people on this site who make a point of spending their entire day hunting down straight mangas with lesbian characters just to spew homophobia, while we don’t even look for this kind of manga — it simply showed up while we were searching for an actual yuri to read.
By the way, what do you think about doing a little exercise? Try to imagine you’re looking for yet another generic straight romance, one of those with a generic guy as the protagonist, just like most of them out there.
The romance between the two characters is developing, you’re enjoying it, but… bam!!! Out of nowhere, the girl ends up with some random girl and that’s the end!

Mediocre manga, I announce it's around 7-8 rating. Nothing controversial to make it 6 in rating except yuri fans malding it had yuri tag(they have male phobia if it even exist)the existence of male just disgust and scares them for some reason.
Thanks for the one managing for keeping yuri tag because it is.
You're a complete idiot. First, find out what Yuri/Shoujo ai means and where this "hatred" we feel for men comes from before spouting such imbecilic things with an air of superiority around here

Edit: Don’t worry, I’ll do it for you myself:

“Using the true meaning of the terms ‘Yuri’, can a work be tagged as such if the two girls end up in a polyamorous trio with a guy?”

“No, a work cannot be correctly tagged as ‘Yuri’ or ‘shoujo ai’ if the main romantic arc ends in a polyamorous triangle that includes a man.
Here’s why, based on the core meaning of the terms:
1. Core Definition
· Yuri (百合): Literally ‘lily’, it is a genre focused on emotional and/or romantic relationships between women. It can range from implicit and subtle to explicit and adult.
· If the ending is a polyamorous trio that includes a man, the central relationship is no longer exclusively between women. The dynamic becomes polyamorous (a group of three people) or a multiple relationship (throuple) that is bisexual/pansexual by nature, not lesbian.
A work with such an ending would be more accurately described with tags such as:
· Reverse harem (if the man is the central focus).
· Poly / Polyamory.
· Bisexual or Love Triangle.
· Ménage à trois (for more adult content).
· Generic tags like Romantic Drama or Romantic Comedy.
Using the Yuri or shoujo ai tag for a work that ends in a poly relationship involving a man would be considered inaccurate and potentially misleading to an audience looking for stories focused on lesbian relationships.
In short: for a work to be authentic Yuri/shoujo ai, the heart of the romantic narrative must beat for the bond between the female protagonists, without a male partner being an integral and definitive part of the romantic relationship in the ending. A poly ending with a man strips the genre of its defining characteristics.”

Well, if even after someone from the staff sees this explanation and STILL keeps the damn GL tag (and on top of that bans me), then we already know what kind of employees they are…

I created an account thanks to this thread. You're all inbred levels of dumb as fuck if you make over this not being pure girls love. I guarantee that none of the malders have actual romantic relationships. It's just a bunch of screaming women who are hopeless and expect everything to kowtow to them, or, and hear me out... Some loser male who thinks the reason girls don't love him is because all girls are gay. And he loves girls, so, he white knights them from the "heteros". Or a bunch of losers who treat being gay as an ideology, so to them, bisexual is a literal traitor.

This manga isn't shit. Your brain is, after you coomed your brainrot all over this thread. This manga is goated for shitting on you, but mediocre in most other regards.
As I said before, it’s extremely naive of you to think that a writer of this caliber cares about bisexual representation or self-discovery, when anyone with the bare minimum of brain activity already knows what this is really about: straight coercion, lesbian correction, correction fantasy — or, as it’s more commonly known, “she’s only a lesbian until she meets the right penis.”

I have absolutely nothing against bisexual people. I’ve read plenty of stories with bisexual characters. My problem is with trash like this.

P.S.: this manga is awful, and the MangaDex staff are a bunch of incompetent trolls.

Edit: Actually, rereading your comment more carefully, I realized you said even more easily debunked nonsense, but honestly, I'm too lazy...

I think they should make a tag about Polycouple, that way it can be easier to tag as this is bi people making a throuple, but we dont have tags for that for some reason.
