While I'm not against the continuation of the series, the author needs to come up with more realistic situations. If the ability to cure a single person per operation, even assuming 24/7 operations, that means the number of people with ID is low enough to where simply eliminating those who contract ID is the easier solution. Not to mention I'm very underwhelmed by the secret Hanazono was holding this whole time, not to mention it still doesn't quite explain why Hanazono needs to be used, even if she is the only one who could regenerate enough to supply an 'infinite' source the explanation leans towards the ability to simply harvest this part of the brain from captured ID's. The amount that can be 'safely' harvested from Hanazono leads to 1 of 2 results, either it means as they draw it out she loses bloodlust (the most likely and least plot-hole revealing explanation.), or she doesn't lose it but this means they can take much more than original stated at a time, but this also means that she has a limited amount regardless, because harvesting it shouldn't mean she can regenerate bloodlust if they draw it out (still no explanation on how the bloodlust is physical). Which also leads to the comparison to anti-venom, you don't need a very strong venom to create anti-venom, but a very strong venom requires more to counteract it. You can literally use a weak anti-venom against the strongest venom if you just use a bit more. Which should mean the ability to sacrifice non-sentient (referring to the way rudiment's IDs act) ID's would be preferable you would get more anti-ID AND it would be easier and start sooner. If we are again taking them at their word they are saying the single operation's cures one person, this means all of the ID infections are of the same strength, which doesn't make sense either, Kamishiro and Hanazono are perfect examples, would this single operation of anti-ID actually cure them despite being the strongest ID's? They even gave an example of the stages of ID which implies it does get stronger, which should also imply it requires more anti-ID. If a single operation could cure say, Kamishiro, that single operation should cure hundreds or thousands of stage 1 ID. Plus the blatant attempt at setting of a 'Montauk-fallacy' based on the SCP description of Montauk is just a purposefully over the top creation of gruesome/cruel procedure for no reason besides making the reader uncomfortable, there is no reason putting her to sleep should reduce the blood lust unless they are saying they are extracting the area of the brain that simply holds the bloodlust, not generates it, which causes a whole different set of plot-holes. AND the procedure isn't even that bad because it operates without the knowledge that the brain has no nerves for pain, it isn't even uncommon of for operations on the brain to be performed on people who are awake, so it doesn't even matter lol it isn't actually THAT bad of a situation for her, though still not ideal obviously, but it is being spun much worse than even the worst of it actually is. She could literally still live a perfectly normal life while getting the part of her brain drawn from every single day, especially given her 'regeration' ability.
