y'all are wayyy overcomplicating this - she just heard a friend in a relationship say that "when you love someone, you can't think about anyone else" and took it at face value (most likely because she doesn't have any prior experience when it comes to this, so this is all she has to go off of), she's taking care of her brother -> she can't afford to not think about him.
that's it. that's her entire thought process. I'm willing to bet that if that same friend tells her that she didn't mean it like that and that she'll be fine with him, then she'd be willing to date him.

6 chapters left, so we get the usual drama bs right before the end, a confession in the last 5-10 pages and then it ends. can the fucking authors just change their shitty writing style already and have them get together more naturally with drama along the way and not as a last minute waste of time?? that way we could see the couples get lovey-dovey for the last few chapters and have an actual satisfying epilogue.

Honestly most magakas are not writing like that, I read a lot of mangas that didn't end like that... But we could have even less lol.

Well, what I can say it's there are a lot of romcoms that don't end with the confession.
Sure, it can have just 5 or 10 extra chapters, but at least we have something most of times

Really? Few chapters left and the author pulls this bs so close to the end? I'm not against drama, but why not ealier? After all the development, spending pretty much every ocasion together, sick mother telling her to live her life and everything, understanding that just because you have one priority it doesn't mean you can have some others... This rejection should've happend before some of that. I don't remember being this pissed with a romcom before.
