Couldn’t they have turned off the monster wards initially, why let them blow up their walls?
Walls can be rebuilt, meanwhile if they come this close they will have no way to escape, which means you'll cause them such massive damage that at the very least they won't be coming back for a while.

Why is Sharon the commander in chief thought? The 2nd in command is supposed to be Selena.

What the fuck was the point of that shitty "captured" point?
In order to get the Alois/Berta army to attack the Great Demon Forest, so that King Alois could be taken out and the Berta Kingdom's army devastated so that the country could be taken over by Alan.
Alois wasn't going to attack unless they received a report that Alan has been captured by Berta.

Well, no, Captain Dhalsim is technically the second-in-command, determined back in Chapter 32.
But he understands that when it comes to actually taking advantage of the military assets of the city, that he is outclassed by Sharon and Selena.
According to Selena, Sharon knows the defense systems better than her, so Sharon is going to be in charge of command and control to coordinate the defenses.
Though the hairstyles of the twins are very similar from certain angles, so some confusion is easy to understand.

Probably to lure them out. Allan would have likely waited years to build up before taking back the kingdom. And the other side was cautious of Allan. But capturing him, they forced the conflict to expedite

An unprepared army fighting two fronts is easier to wipe out. Also, they want to take over the world and have no need of war mongering groups/states.

Man if only this wasn’t so rushed.

I mean the headcanon and tiny detail people here are having a field day, but as a normal reader the tension is just barely there. I don’t give a hoot about it being 3 or 4 walls.

But hey, here are some more panels to raise up edgy spy girl. And don’t forget characters talking in a meta way to the reader instead of to other characters.

I don’t have a huge problem with the things happening, I have a problem with how things are happening.

It’s like the author knows where he wants to get to the end, but didn’t have a detailed plan. Now the team is rushing through the prototype of an ending the novel author didn’t want to flesh out himself.

A pity, but I guess they didn’t want to take a step back and let the writing team work on it more. For whatever which reasons.

I thought they go though mowing the monster. I guess this army just walk the high way without encountering any monster.

Let them breach Wall 3 so they can get a taste of dragon breath.

This shit is just sad... while I do want the story to continue after the author skipped out, it would have been nice of they at least kept the newer chapters somewhat consistent with the source materials.

This is not the direction I hoped this would take, and frankly wish the current team a lifetime of papercuts and to slamming their fingers in every door, drawer, and cupboard.

I can only assume that iris let the walls be fell just so enemies will get their morale be strangely motivated in a form of psychological warfare but in actuality, they're the cornered rats living in the well

I believe the execution has been more due to the circumstances of recent events rather than a proper plan being executed by stages...
For one, the AI can't act by itself against other humans (apparently?), so she can only wait for orders.
The protocol they have in place requires them to have the cptn relay the orders, if they cannot be contacted for a certain amount of time, the next in command takes charge, which appears to be the current situation.
The AI then asks the next in command to either step in or it will take charge (which contradicts the first step somehow?)
Since the enemy has already breached the 4th wall, the first line of defense, we won't know if there was anything there to prevent a breach besides the walls.
We now have the second in command activating one of the Active Defense Mechanisms, which calls in the local fauna.
she doesn't just ask the next in command, she ask her OG clone/kinda daughter... the point there is to not give the order to massacre the 100k soldiers, that's why she mentions as an AI she doesn't have guilt unlike her human "daughter" that will shoulder all of the blood incoming. Pretty much all has been according to their plan.

Huh, so it was a trap after all, though I don't know how much of that delay in decision-making and action was intentional. So they're luring the forest's monsters back in to do the counterattack for them. Not sure that's very efficient with damages to two defensive walls. But it does save them ammo and potentially traps the enemy army behind choke points, I'll give them that.

Now that the enemy artillery has fired, this is exactly the best time to let loose with counter-battery fire using their wall artillery to destroy the enemy magic artillery. And also an aerial barrage on the enemy forces within the walls.
