Wow that's fast...dangg I didn't know that Iris AI is named and modeled after a real person (in the manga) I love this kind of realistical and logical manga, unlike some manga that use magic to explain everything.

this sure made the idiots in the previous chapters look stupid.
the ones who criticized the fact that the ai acted too human and shit.

i swear these brain dead fantasy readers could handwave everything fantasy but when any thing sci fi comes up, just brings up loads of dogshit contrivances that are answered eventually regardless.

This is a scifi manga with super advance tech but they cant find a single human on a planet. The AI should have been able to find him based on calculating the ships previous position from the planets previous position when pod was launched, then simulate how the pod would have decided on a landing spot. It was all run by AI, the AI can then use that to find where it would have gone... Lets not forget tracking high level communication frequencies his body and equipment would be giving off.

with tiny twists like the player character being a vending machine, or a fucking chair or something.

I fail to see why this chapter is necessary.
Its an AI ffs. It doesnt need this additional lore for her character. And i can tell the author tried to make this emotional. But unfortunately, i dont give two shits about the AI. Plus its only ch. 5. The writing isnt that good that itll made feel attached to a character that has the general trope of lacking character or emotion in five chapters..

Honestly, this chapter feels like something the author add in just cause he thought it was cool
