This manga walks me down the line between interesting and viscerally discomforting. The appendectomy is messing with me pretty bad since I went through a pretty awful one a few years ago. Anesthesiologist didn't account for hyperthyroidism and I woke up in the middle of the procedure. No idea how long I was conscious before she noticed and put me back under but it felt like an eternity.

Ugh, yeah, check if you have hyperthyroidism before getting surgery. Learn from my mistakes.

i'm talking about Medical/movie manga as a whole not only this particular scene or manga.
do appreciating how the manga portray doctor work and praising doctor precision not allowed something?. even if you see this scene in particular is trivial, since i'm not a doctor i still see it as something awesome cause i'm sure as hell i wouldn't be able to do that

Pretty accurate mostly.

I'm still cringing at him holding the patient's body with sterile gown (and quite possibly handschoen) before drapping them though. Positioning is usually done by non gowned people lol.
