Who exactly was supposed to resurrect these guys? They were struggling on sub-20 levels and you can only be resurrected by someone with that item on the 100th floor within 24 hours. They either have someone permanently on the 100th floor or a communication tool to get someone from the outside to race to the top. Regardless, that is a wildly reckless backup plan when retreat is always an option.

Not on the 100th floor. Eugene said it can used on the 100th floor and below. Meaning it can be used on floors 1–100. It can't be used on floors 101 and beyond.

Wow this has terrible writing. First, it takes the dumb plot of "only DPS are useful". But instead of subverting that thinking by having an MC who can hold their own without relying on being a DPS he just gets handed DPS abilities by proxy. Secondly, what's even the point of the caretaker plot? We barely see the demon queen interact with MC. It's like it's just there for setting and then forgotten.

I have to assume with how the series has already went "MC can fight, but he needs to be granted magic", that the demon queen plot is going to come into play in basically the same way, where Sumire's power is gonna be his typical fighting power, and then a contract with the demon queen will give him the cliche "edgy super-power-up that comes at a price so he can't use it often" type of thing. Whether it's the cerberus or some other monster, he'll reach something that Sumire's power isn't enough for, and then he'll have to go to the demon queen to get her help.
