Manga like this really prove that many genderbent isekai being slop doesn't really have to do with their theming -- it's just that they're written poorly. This is not written poorly. On the contrary, I'm quite enjoying it. Even in the short time it's been around, we have interesting character types with understandable motivations, a charming protagonist, a gay maid, and not even a single cheat skill in sight (though MC-chan is quite strong). Bookmarked, subscribed, catalogued, and pinned. I'll be keeping an eye on this quite closely...

I mean, I'm from Europe and we also prefer slender women.

Pronounced muscles on women is more of a fetish than something people are typically attracted to.

I do like my slender-but-strong-like-a-titan female characters, so yeah, I'm enjoying this.

Interestingly enough, apparently greater strength actually doesn't necessarily mean bigger muscles.

There's like this youtube video of a fitness coach putting that idea to the test where he did reps with two different weights on each side of his body, one lighter, one heavier.

It turns out, by the end of his test, the side that did the lighter weight actually grew measurably bigger, and the other half, while smaller, greatly increased in strength.

That might also explain why experienced climbers/boulderers can easily keep up with bodybuilders despite the sheer difference in their size.

Goes to show that form-over-function and vice versa is a thing in muscles too, I guess.

I'm not a fitness expert myself, so I don't know how much that exactly applies to our princess here, but maybe you can argue that she just doesn't care about dieting so much, so her body fat's too high to let her toned muscles show? Maybe. I don't know how much I'm reaching there lol.

Yeah, when I first started going to the gym I focused on more reps than weight. I think I was just too young and thought it looked cooler to do more reps. My muscles ended up growing considerably, to the point that I got stretch marks on the inner part of my biceps.

Then life happened and I got depressed and fat for a few years. Lost a lot of my strength and muscle mass.

When I got back to working out and getting in shape, I had already switched to believing that calisthenics were the way to go, instead of using weights in specific poses.

So I started calisthenics, but since I've become a fat fuck, I could barely do a single pull up. I couldn't do any "reps". I had to use all my strength just to do one. Like that, I got into the habit of always using my whole strength throughout the entire movement of whichever exercise I was doing, for however many reps my current strength allowed me.

Fast forward a few years, I now have a much learner build than when I was younger. And I'm pretty sure I'm stronger. I could never manipulate my body (which is waaaay heavier than any weights I've ever lifted (except on the leg press machine)) in 3D space as well as I do now.

I'm glad I went this route, because I remember having a lot of trouble picking clothes when I was younger. Many of the shirts just didn't fit my bulging arms. Now, I just look like I'm reasonably in shape. And as a bonus, nobody thinks at first glance that I'm capable of snapping their limbs in half like twigs (when in fact, I'm able to do that and so much more). It helps not to look like a mafia thug when dealing with clients.

The man is fighting a twelve year old girl, and the first move he uses puts her face directly in his crotch. I've got a chair for you right here, if you wouldn't mind sitting down.

Shes actually 16 here going off the previous chapter

nothing to nitpick, but sometimes i wish characters would have the defined muscles to match their strength.
especially after taking in her calories. those usually don't evaporate just after entering the mouth.
I mean, in these kind of cases is semi justified that her body looks just regular because most of her absurd strenght comes from magic.
But having a bit more atheltic build would be nice too.
