It makes sense to use a pillar as long as she can magically reinforce it not to fall apart. A steel beam would probably be even better.

When it comes to transferring pure force to your enemies, something big and heavy is hard to beat. Usually, muscles have a maximum speed, and once you've reached max speed with your weapon, more strength doesn't give more damage anymore. But if you can get the same max speed with something heavier...

It would be nice if they could address the problems of mass, though. The MC weighs, like, 150 kg (including her 100kg underwear), which should make it hard to swing a 200-kg pillar around without swinging herself around too.

She’s become a pillar of her kingdom

I guess her stand is the pillar…imagine her entire identity becomes associated with pillars

“Ah yes, this has the pillar seal of approval by the princess, structurally sound, and the perfect weapon!” :chad:

I live she kept the pillar lol . It would be hilarious if she keeps it and uses it on occasion later on

Brother you really shouldn't be going down that train of thoughts. I guess maybe you don't see how ridiculous that is because your intuition is off by more than one order of magnitude ? That pillar is around 40 cm in diameter ? We don't get a view of its entire length here but going back to chapter 6, it's quite more than twice her height, four probably closer to five meters.

So ! Let's be super conservative, 30 cm diameter, 4 m height :
π x 0,3² x 4 we get a volume of 1,13 m³ (obviously very underestimated)
google tells me marble has typically a density of around 2,75 ?
That gets us of pilar of, at least, 3,1 tonnes.

With 40 cm diameter and 5 m height, we get almost seven tonnes.

And yes, I'm ignoring the enlarged base and hat of the pillar because I'm lazy.

In short : this is a goofy fantasy manga with slapstick humor; which respects just enough of Newton's third law of motion to send unnamed mooks flying around.

You wouldn't be calling for proper realism of action-reaction when watching a Tom and Jerry cartoon.

Wasn't she out of stamina in the last chapter? How is she still going? I thought that was going to be an interesting limitation she has to find a work-around for, but she's still OP as ever, eliminating any tension in the story. Why even bother making that a plot point if you're not going to do anything with it?

That pillar is able to withstand her swinging and striking, it is exemplar pillar, whoever made it have perfected his masonry to preserve the power of stone with graceful appearance of imperial palace pillar
