When I first found this manga a short while ago, I was skimming through the raws of the first three chapters and thought "Yeah, this is pretty fun" but remained unsure if I wanted to pick it up. Chapter 4's powerbomb definitely made me lean more towards a yes, however, this chapter... The second she picked up the pillar I was instantly sold because this was exactly the kind of stupid over-the-top fun I had been looking for. Call it slop, call it trash, but first and foremost I just think it's simply really entertaining.

Funny thing is that I also almost missed the pretty obvious Berserk reference because I've never seen the original dialogue in Japanese. It wasn't until my second proofreading that I realised what I initially translated it as made me think: "Hey, this sounds somewhat similar to that one scene from Berserk". Just to double check, I found Chapter 1 of Berserk in Japanese and sure enough, the wording was almost entirely identical so I had to change my translation to match it.

"Is that a slab of metal reference!?!"

Still, it's good that females aren't particularly ostracized, but just worried about, especially considering the fantasy modernish setting.

Also, still curious on what happened to cultural expectations over the generations as it seems there must have been an impetus causing this severe disconnect. The king was making a female knight order, for her or otherwise, so it might just be an overwhelming amount of peace and prosperity being malformed by people like Rudolf.
