I think your unvalueing a few things here. She is being given a position of trust. She's literally being tasked with creating an established position. Being the first puts your name in history. It's a great honor to do so. Better than that she even gets to personally pick the talent instead of being pushed to grab a bunch of randoms that she would have to pull up their bootstraps and force the group work. To slowly pick up achievements. High ranking generals would love to have that perk. Honestly though it will seem like nepotism cause the stir was silenced its pretty much a reward.

Then there is the next part of your comment. We just learned that they have a shadow knight group that the first emperor trained and passed down from generations. Truth is with that knowledge Eva might not be the strongest in the country. He was worried sure because it looked dire but apparently he needn't have worried about the influx of warriors because his hidden army was silently waiting for the rebellion so they could crush it.

Ngl my first thought with Clarice is that she is Lilith (girl in the hero party) who also reincarnated and was able to figure out that Eva is Alex and is now obsessed with her. Because she found him again and doesn't want to lose them again.

It's out there but it'd be a fun plot thread imo.

Well, now that I read all 8 chapters I can say that this one is not that good and will fall off very quickly.
8 very short chapters without any plot or story, the plot hook is given in the last 2 chapters and is immediatly deviated to "school arc". We have no stake on the MC because the setting is the ol'reliable "powerfull member of ancient civilization reincarnates in the future to find out everything was lost and everyone is weaker" so there is no conflict to be had as there is no one that could ever get close to them. Worse still instead of re-developing skills for the whole civilization it seems this story will make those skills to a small circle of girls... because that will have no negative impacts for the future at all...

Just found this, this is a super fun read, Eva is hilarious, I love how she's drawn just the right amount of slightly thick to make her bulky.
Almost waiting for her to get a sword named EX, get captured by the hellhorde and "tortured" with food and such, iykyk.
This and "Slime Seijo" are very similar and good fun.

Ok now that the first Act ended i can finally throw the question, one that im seeing most Genderbend manga doing for sometime, why Genderbend? This looks like a manga that could easily be just a Fantasy, there's like nothing that makes you see it as Genderbend if you dont read the 1st Chapter (maybe ch2~3 if generous)

Its either Identity Death or the Author Forgets/tries to make the Reader Forget, feels like a cheap tactic to get people to read

Anyways im still going to read it cause it seems fun anyways
