For all the people who keep asking why she got offered the prince by the teacher, it's all about status. She's the (adopted) daughter of a duke, which is only one step down from the royal family. When you consider social rank, she's probably the most eligible to get put with the prince.

When his grandfather appeared I thought its his chaance to have his name so he could marry her but then he adopted both of them so I said like they will never be a couple but now I'm feeling sad TT__TT
