Wow that eye was quite thoroughly removed from such a tiny sword. Much more of it should be intact and gruesomely gory, unless the little fairy managed to pull out the entire eyeball and there should be torn muscles coming out of the eye socket.

@Askorti You are right, the vasculature wouldn't have taken it directly into the brain, but it would have spread there otherwise assuming the lance broke the bone between the eye cavity and the brain. Quite a short distance from the eye to the heart in any case, and nothing the dude could have done to stop it.

But then again, considering they didn't attack while the villain was still in a shock, it doesn't really matter. Zeff seems to be the kind of guy who wouldn't use openings, no matter how much he worked for them, so obviously he wouldn't use poison either.

90 pages for this fight and its still not over? Is this going to be worth it? This villain isn't even interesting. He's just an asshole that abuses familiars for no reason other than he's bad. and now he wants to kill kids because he's bad.

@Yamibi while I agree on the cliche part I disagree on the greed part, this is envy not greed. He is jealous that these kids are younger than him but not that much weaker than him.

You envy someone for a thing you don't or can't own. If you desire something so much you envy other people - that is born from you greed.
My comment was more philosophical and general talking about the root of evil not about particular situation with this villian
