@gum_rummy This manga is published on Yuri Hime on 18th every month.
The English translation here seems come every more or less a month.
If you can speak Chinese, you can browse for the Chinese version. This month Chinese version is realesed just few days after the latest chapter/8th was out at 18th Sept, while for Spain version it is updated more or less every 3-4 weeks (latest chapter is still at 7th).

How long does it really take to translate a chapter like this? Logical point is a few hours at most or max 1-3 days, since novel translators can easily translate up to 1-3 chapters a day which has 1.5k-2.5k+ words in each chapter then it's certain this manga translated to english should've already been to the latest chapter but it hasn't why?

And i'm not complaining i'm just wondering how long it takes to edit and translate a manga chapter and why can't they just translate to the latest chapters and release them instead for waiting for 1 month if it's in that case or something like "pay to view" site. :)

I understand.. I also want to read the English version asap but I did some chat with Chaos Team and Rainy Devil Scans.
Do you know that they are students?
If White Garden are also students .. September - October are not a relax time you know.
Around September was the beginning of the new semester which means many text books that must be bought.. It's quite hurts wallet in my case it consumed 55% of my monthly allowance, of course the translation teams might not experience same thing but
might be also experienced the same while to translate the raw the scanlation team have to bought the Yurihime monthly magazine first, right?
While on October middle exam will be around so once in a month is already okay. We enjoy it for free anyway.

@FTU @BlueSky

https://mangaplanet.jp/scanlation-speaks-zartlichkeit-du-yuri-tender-yuri-scans-interview-yuri-scanlation/ Question 3 answers the time question a bit.
Since I'm not the translator for White Garden, I'll just speak from my experience.
For a 20page manga I'd say this can be translated in a day or more, depending on the translator's level and the complexity of the manga. Cleaning a 20page manga can be done in a day too if you work straight without break which I usually do. A page can take 1 minute to clean if there's nothing to redraw, or some hours if the redrawing is difficult. Typesetting usually takes more time than cleaning, I tried to speed typeset a 52page chapter once and I needed ~9-10hours without breaks but that's not the norm since editing is draining in general and we editors also need breaks.

So...all in all a chapter can be done in a few days right? Since we split up the work, we're not working on this alone so no, communication and waiting time takes more time than you guys think. We have different time zones, we have jobs or other obligations we need to do, we also get sick or also work on other projects (Raida and I are both not only in White Garden but also work on other projects in different groups). Then we need to check for errors in both the translation and editing. This is also a time-consuming job, in rare occasions it takes more time to check a translation than translating. And if we need to discuss things, we need to wait for the other member's reply again which takes time.
Of course, if you want a speedy release, you can all do everything in one day. But you'll most likely skip quality check, proofreading, and you'll be more sloppy with the editing. Once something has been uploaded on the net, you cannot delete it anymore. Once we release a chapter full of errors, most people will read that faulty version even if we update it a few hours/days after. We don't want that, that's why we want to spend as much time as possible on looking for errors, mistakes, parts that can be improved to have the best version possible.

Japanese people have to wait one month for every chapter, I'm sure you can also wait that long. Scanlators are also normal human beings just like you are, we also need breaks. And no, we don't have scheduled releases, it's just the time we roughly need, sometimes less, sometimes more, but you'll be on the good side to expect at least one month for a chapter. I know of some series that get updates once a year, and that's sadly the norm in the yuri scene. It's getting better though! I hope this was insightful and more people will understand that the time to translate something does not equal the release speed. There's much more to that.

@Mai88 I personally don't have any problem with the time of waiting.

Thanks for picking up this very interesting manga.

I just started reading this today and I didn't thought this is yuri.
Yeah. I didn't read the tags. Just clicked it impulsively.
Oh well. Might as well continue reading.
