I know people complain about 'misunderstandings' which could be solved with a simple conversation, but yeah this manga just drops every point of tension immediately. Every time I should be going, 'oh what's going to happen?' it just goes 'yeah okay that's fine' and moves on.

So this is going to turn into a monster girl writer harem where a yokai or monster girl appears with the bestest and most interesting story ever competing for Yuuji Everylead's affection and since we see the protag's distant descendant it probably means he shacked up with them all and worked to create the future described in the Kudan's book.

C'mon people, just because there's multiple women doesn't mean it's a harem work. There's no way, given just how hard the main couple is being pushed (literally ordained by fate), that there's even a hint of harem in this. She will be just a writing rival and definitely a future ally for the couple. Trust.

The writing is so good that, if it does turn into a harem, I'd imagine him ending up with multiple wives or something of the sort.

The ending is probably good, I get the sense from the story that it's pretty structured.
