@boag - yes, it can be said that what she does is a good thing overall. And it's understandable that she isn't worried about child labor much, since she started working early. Still, a lot of readers have doubts if that was the right thing to do.
@gghhzz - the trick is, they aren't trying to improve the food situation in Crimonia. Crimonia has enough food. They're trying to siphon off cash from the town to the orphanage, so that they would be able to buy food or other things. Which is why they're organizing production of cash-generating luxury food, to replace money that used to be taken from taxes.
They could have done it with wine or other cash crop, but Yuna wanted eggs, and there wasn't enough production to satisfy the demand. Yuna is a quite capable entrepreneur, managing to organize win-win solutions with only a little construction work.
@sjmcc13 - it's funny how you mention seafood, but don't mention the actual adventures she had to get it.
