I've read both the WN and LN and the LN definitely adds a lot of new information and reorganizes everything. From now on it will not be the same as the WN much at all, although the main plot and characters are the same. I think it is better with all the editing, so it is worth re-reading even if you read the WN already. You learn a lot more backstory and the plot makes more sense.
