We don't need cliffhangers during fights in this manga. The whole gimmik in the manga is him being absurdly overpowered. So you can't expect to create any suspense (unless the MC is emotionally involved, like rage or something) in a fight, where everybody knows the conclusion. Especially if it is against someone who is just a subordinate of Fey.

But I'm at least glad there wasn't a new waifu this chapter. Although you never new in this genre, the demon might "adept".

The fact the turtle got off screened just tells me the author doesn't know what they're doing. Like, they didn't know how to have the MC kill it so they threw in the towel with a "I just put up a barrier and it died" and had the turtle die where we couldn't see it.
