Honestly, the art is what's keeping me reading right now. So far, the story's utter trash that has no basic logic, no world building and no character building. It's just a smashed together nonsensical hodge-podge right now, jumping from one subplot to the next with each passing chapter. That ain't a story (not a good one, or even a half-assedly thought-out one, anyway)😑. Take this knight commander competition... basically, these guys just went into the backyard and said "last one alive is the KC" (her first move was going for the kill not surrender, and that makes no fukn sense at any time, let alone when you're trying to actually bolster the amt of troops ya got😅). The MC forking the bill each time for a dragon that wants to eat him; the attitudes and killling intent directed at the MC (a high noble) with each new encounter (commoners included) that would (irl) get you a swiftly carried out death sentence, but is just being brushed off by the mc each time; the bs from this chapter; the bs from last chapter (ntm the initial chapters' bullshit, like him not checking with his ACTUAL employer and just taking the word of some knight commander scrub that has literally NOTHING to with his employ. A KC that is in no way a part of his chain of command, not just firing him but BANISHING him (that's a royal's job)... come on, this is all too fukn stupid😅. Writer needs to pick up a real fukn book sometime, cuz this fukrs either dumb as shit, or just one lazy-ass writer😂.
