Why does this chapter repeatedly and exclusively use "they" for Azazel? He was introduced in the last chapter, is clearly male, and was consistently referred to as such in the previous chapter: "This guy", "he" multiple times by multiple characters, "my right hand man", "his presence". This, along with the inconsistent names and time spans (already mentioned by someone else above), makes it seem like the previous translator was replaced wholesale.

I know we're all just feeding our isekai-slop addiction, it's not high art, and translations are free, but a little more consistency/quality control/common sense would improve the reading experience a lot.

...What? There were like 3-4 people that were trying their best to recruit him to their territory/land, and when he finally arrives to one of em, he is instantly met with people that want to manipulate, harm or just up and kill him? This makes no sense!
Mangaka is a fucking moron
This is how it goes in the wn so blame the og author I suppose.

The MC's death will spell the downfall of humanity? That's okay, just use a barrier to repel death.

These guys were the housekeepers / lord of this mansion, they were not exactly on board with the king's plan to have this random guy swoop in and take over their entire operation. Makes sense well enough.

What DOESN'T make sense here is this guy literally just watched all his men get completely eviscerated in front of him and yet he was still acting all high & mighty despite that. Something was severely wrong in his head.

What bothers me is how easy MC goes with all the killing and the knowledge that as soon as he is no longer able to suppress this calamity that travels with him, humanity is done for... like we see him going in to this place and we see quite a lot of people, then we know they are all dead now...author tries to sell us that every single one of them had killing intent towards him, but it could also be killing intent towards the guys that killed the people that i knew in front of me, just because they where a bit uneasy about the random guy that came and took control of the place, without any type of announcement or public mention (like, MC had to walk there)?... author is failing a bit with this, i don´t like the MCs that left everyone go with nothing but a slap in the wrist... but there is a limit to both extremes

Those 3-4 people knew who shield was and what he offers to a nation as a whole. This people were basically housekeepers and placeholders for then autonomous region and were allowed to self govern almost, and most likely didn't care who shield was aside from his station of birth. Iirc correctly you'll see how badly they taxed the people of the land to line their own pocket in the next few chapters.

They talk about how hostile everyone looks at the MC and gives a clear visible sign that they are up to no good, with their face being completely shadowed and all and you think they some of them could have been "just uneasy". The 5 that lived were prolly the uneasy ones. Also you have to remember the MC is kinda a flake and while he is super confident in defending, not so much confidence in other thing.
