Welcome to the club! I've dropped plenty of manga and manhwa over 100 chapters in. Mostly due to ridiculously slow progress between characters, far too much miscommunication, etc. It's rare to find a story, romance or not, that doesn't frustrate me a great deal.

Do you remember the chapter when she called him out on his dishonesty? She also mentioned that they aren't friends yet because of that, she was most likely waiting for him to start being honest with her and himself more often

It's also Japan, where you're not even officially dating if the guy didn't explicitly ask, "Would you like to go out(date) with me?"

Just as a reminder, chapters 1 to 24 was April to June, chapter 33 was around fall, after summer break.

Then chapter 61 was Christmas, 70 was Valentine's day, and 73 was March with White Day.

So not even a year for two people who were previously loner introverts to get close enough for one of them to mistake his feelings of love as wanting to be"friends" is normal.
