I know that there won't be anything I can do about it, thats why if the situation didn't get fixed I might just stop scanlation in general. I hate for my hard work which I'm doing for free for the readers to be taken advantage of. I really hope that they comply to my request though.
It probably sucks, however, the reality here is that the only victim here is the Managaka.

They are the one who ultimately put in the most and initial effort, and gets negligent rewards from us getting to read it for free.

Im saying as way to have you look at this in another way, hopefully one that makes you realize that caring what others do with your already stolen work shouldnt matter.

Nah, most of the mangas I'm translating doesn't have official translation and sometimes if possible I'm buying raws to support the mangaka even a little and unlike them I don't plan on monetizing my scanlations because that's overstepping the line. My qualms is if they want to make profit out of scanlation they can at least use 100% of their own effort. But I'm not saying that your opinion is invalid, it just frustrates me that I who's doing my best to work on my scanlation to dish out to the readers despite having not enough resources for free is being taken advantage of. This is also why I'm thinking of quitting scanlation if this problem didn't get fixed.

I'm not saying this to be a dick, or to be critical, because I appreciate most of the scanlators and the work they do bringing us content that we otherwise would probably never see. And I get that it's frustrating, but at the same time, what you are doing, is basically illegal as well. You are not authorized by the mangaka to translate this work into English, thus, legally, you really aren't any better than the people using your work without permission. The only difference being that you are not trying to monetize this vs. whoever is. At the end of the day, this is not your work. You have no rights to it, so, there's really nothing you can do other than ignoring the fact that they are using your stolen work to make their stolen work, or stopping altogether. While I do hope that you continue to translate, adding watermarks to something you don't own isn't the answer.

I also think the same, that's why even though people are telling me to put a watermark I'm not doing it but at this point I might just quit scanlating than have my hard work that I'm giving to the public for free being taken advantage of.

Bro really went and said "Let me cook." And paused the fight and exposed our MC with 100% accuracy and with evidence.

Seems like his skill follows a certain set of rules in order for him to copy a skill.

- The target he wants to copy from must first perform the skill in front of him. Any skills that were used, be it active or passive, will then be eligible for him to copy. However, skills that weren't used or skills that he didn't see his target use aren't eligible to copy.

- He must make physical contact with the target with a fist bump in order to copy the skill. Any other form of physical interaction; open palms, the target touching him, will not count for the skill to copy over.

- If the target performs more skills after he has successfully copied the previous ones, he must initiate a fist bump again to copy them.

Don't worry about people stealing chapters to lighten their own work. It's part of being a scanlator, and happens more often than you think. Other platforms outright take entire chapters and put them behind paywalls. Best that anyone can do is tell them to stop or publicly call them out on it.

Here, have some Nerissa OL eye candy.

Lythe copied 2 Sarah's skills from one fist bump after she shown her skill in front of him, so this make sense, I supposed he have to punch again if he want more skills but this Dark Magician guy definitely caught on.
