Not necessarily? Ultimately, the rules of magic are up to the author of the particular world, but it wouldn't strike me as odd that an item created in such a way that it didn't constantly drain its maker's mana and/or focus didn't come with a convenient off switch.Since he made the cloths... can he not just... unmake them? or absorb their power back into himself?
Right? Like surely there is a way for him to reclaim the magic energy or dispel the magic energy that HE HIMSELF put into the items. Not necessarily? My bet is that he can manipulate the magic and it'll stab him through everywhereSince he made the cloths... can he not just... unmake them? or absorb their power back into himself?
They arent even items, they are pure solid magic he made so there's no way he cant just say "puff" and make them disappearRight? Like surely there is a way for him to reclaim the magic energy or dispel the magic energy that HE HIMSELF put into the items.
My thoughts exactly. Gonna just unmake them and Assassin gonna make a derp face then get rekt.Since he made the cloths... can he not just... unmake them? or absorb their power back into himself?
Torso, arms, legs... So hit him in the face. Or hands.
Maybe it is unheard of for someone to still be able to control this kind of magic even long after they left from the original caster's vicinity? Even so, a good assassin would practice extreme caution and anticipate practically any possibility that could snuff their life in an instant. This guy wasn't good, it's just that the prince and everyone around him was stupid enough for the assassin to infiltrate the capital undetected.Voluntarily covering yourself in an enemies magic seems like a pretty dumb plan...
Then it's pointless for him to specify.Part of their specialness was that they automatically reach up to protect you in whatever area is about to be hit.
