  • On one hand, it's clever for author to suggest (or use plot point of) uncontrolled arms proliferation.
  • On the other hand, MC is a moron if he's not wearing his own protection as @NiceGhost point out.
But didn't MC demonstrate in an earlier chapter himself manipulating one remotely?
Or at the very least, did he ever consider the remote possibility of criminals using his product?

I don't think there was any morality debate (manga is too short for it) within this manga. And resale implies marketing failure.
But it could also because I'm reading "Kajiya de Hajimeru Isekai Slow Life" raw WN, where that's actively debated.

that sweetdrop at the end either mean
"shiiiiiit"
or
"shiiiit boy, you stupid or something?"

So... cloth becomes spikes, then?

Black cloth! It slices! It dices! It makes Flue-lian Fries!

Haha, even this series had one good twist, even though I expected it to happen in one form or another ever since folks started buying the sacrificial clothes in bulk. I just didn't foresee this particular case, as back then these developments hadn't started yet. But generally speaking it was a foregone conclusion villains would get those items as well.

It's a pity the prince didn't die immediately, but he'll be escorted to the gallows anyway, no doubt, so it doesn't much matter. Being a prince won't excuse him from this failure.

Meh, seems asshole fatso got away easy. If he died then at least Henrietta won't be forced to marry him. Or he'll pin the blame on Henrietta for failing to maintain the barrier like the scum he is. There are just no upsides to keeping him alive unless a fair trial where his crimes come to light awaits.

Couldn't he make spikes appear from the black cloth though? Or at least dispel them? It's curious that the readers have to be told the antagonist covered their body with the black cloth, because it suggests the protagonist can use that as a trump card.
