Spoiler: rereading speculation

Knowing what becomes of Lilly later on, I wonder if the yandere essence of the cursed blade rubbed off on Lily? Or it was just a matter of time after being ostracized and bullied for so long that she latched heavily onto the first person that treated her nicely? Maybe a little bit of both? Who knows...

Also that little backstory art on the sword gave slight Coraline vibes and I loved it.
