The title didn't got axed, it still somehow maintains its integrity, didn't turn into complete shit across all those years, just please stop hacking the chapters to milk it just a month more. i mean, there could be at least one among the myriad of japanese storytelling media. unfortunately, i don't know enough to give you any example. as far as i know, most stories usually end when MC defeated a god, became one of the gods, or defeated god and then became one.
