student x teacher kind of story is always gonna be kinda questionable in the age regard but middle school really makes me raise my eyebrow
I guess the art style or personality of Kazuki made me think she was older since I usually consider 12-13 to still be loli territoy

I really like the manga cause how cute and stupid the main two are but I guess middle school is considered more mature in Japan or something which is kinda a disconnect to me.

I don't really see anything wrong with this, it isn't really grooming since Kusanagi is the one being hunted down like a rabbit and over time, she has begun to see Kazuki as a different person from her mom, but the awkwardness is still there (I mean why wouldn't it be). Also we live in a universe where Cuties is allowed to exist sooooo
