Hey! I know that one haha. That was a good seriesI can't believe this got a sequel.

It felt odd at first, but what truly triggered my theorist senses was when the new girl appeared. I was just holding myself back from posting too much spoiler details since the last chapter (self-imposed spoiler jail).I mentioned this in the main thread a few days ago.
I wouldn't be surprised if we get a weird twist where all these girls are some kind of succubus, vampire, or a yokai of some sort.
Those teeth aren't normal and looking back, it seems like she goes out of her way to hide them in previous chapters.
Maybe it's something like an artist's style choice? That reminds me, why IS nobody talking about the girls' individual exotic eye designs?
Those irises alone screams non-human. Things started normal, and there's no fantasy or monster-girls in the tags. The author's not suddenly going to reveal that Luna's a succubus all along or something, right? Unless...
That's the thing, we can't really tell if the detail is just stylistic choice, or an important detail staring us in the face, not at least until the author explicitly shows it to us. Remember, Luna's pupils are consistently DIAMONDS from chapter 1. How the diamond shape is supposed to express a character being "slutty", is beyond me. Heart-shaped pupils, sure, that's typical for a constantly horny character, but diamond? Assuming her pupils actually ARE diamond-shaped, that girl ain't human, at the very least.Maybe it's something like an artist's style choice?
I've seen some mangas before in which the artist draws some lesser animal traits, like fangs, unusual eyes or fur-like clothing on characters to emphasize or correlate that character traits or personality while still being human, specially on relevant scenes. For sample, resident shark-girl has more prominent canines and pointier teeth when she was revealed as a biter o just about to bite MC. The new girl probably has more reptile pupils to tip readers about how "snakey" or coiling she can be.
Probably my best move right now would be to ignore this for a year and then get back to it and see where it goes without being jerked around chapter by chapter.
Unfortunately I'm compelled to read anything that shows up with a new chapter in my feed, so I'm just going to suffer for a while I think.
Hey, does anyone know of a manga where someone falls in love with someone who actually is a slut, and they deal with that like an adult without it being some bait and switch or an "I can fix her" plot? Because I keep getting tricked and it's annoying.

Luna's diamond pupils, Kawashima's iris seemingly flaring up when feeling bitey, new girl's snake eyes. These are details we all probably took for granted, particularly Luna's, which actually changes size. With the MC being related to Luna, there's the possibility that he too, isn't your ordinary human, should this detail lead to fantasy elements being introduced.
Chapter 4 page 3, flat teeth, possible slip-up by the author, but compare with Luna Ch.5 p.1 or drunkenillusion!Luna Ch.5 p.20.
Also compare ch.4 p.29 teeth to ch. 5 p.29/30. That's either artistic exaggeration, or her teeth gets more prominent the more she wants to bite.
I can't comprehend your comment. By your logic, like 95% of the romance manga out there wouldn't exist, because they're just about some straightforward relationship. I feel like navigating things with a partner who is a slut gives plenty of opportunity for plot. Why would the topic "never be brought up again"? Have you ever been in a relationship? Do you really go, "hmm, I am fine with this, therefore will cease all conversation about it as my position is clear" about...anything? That sounds absolutely sociopathic. Why would two people closely involved with each other not ever talk about a significant part of their life?I don't see why anyone would draw a manga like that. A novel would be one thing, but a manga?
Such a relationship would simply be a normal relationship, but with the added trait of either or both partners being promiscuous. If it's not a bait n switch, and not some plot where they want to change the other person....then there's only two conclusions. The promiscuous person stops their swinging immediately, or both partners accept the status quo and never bring it up again.
And what kind of plot would that serve for a manga? It's not even decent slice of life.
Counterpoint, compare ch.4 p.3 to ch.5 p.24. It's a 2110 x 3000 pixel image, take a closer look. Roughly the same head size, but one is clearly with the sharp teeth. Then again, her shark teeth have been revealed to us by that point.I'd say with some parts, it's possible that adding detail to the teeth at those points might not of been a priority? Since it wasn't really up close or anything, the teeth would of had to of been pretty exaggerated for them to be noticed.
I was more referring to her body language where she seems to hold her hand up to her mouth when it looks like she would be exposing her teeth (smiling, laughing, shocked).
As for the teeth showing more when she's about to bite him. It might be similar to something like a dog or shark getting ready to bite? When they get ready to bite, they'll bare their teeth.
If it does go the supernatural route, I'm wondering if the MC is just going to end up being the kind of character that attracts all different kinds of "monster girls" (for lack of a better term) because he's the best "food".
I guess it could partly explain why Kawashina was attracted to him. She does seem to be genuinely happy to find out that he's the same person from when they were kids too.
