Short spoiler: We're still never reaching the truth, not even about Luna's job. Ice cream.
Long spoiler: Chapter "cover" illustration has Luna picking up a pack of condoms in a convenience store, which may or may not be canon to the story.

We start off not knowing if MC got "punished" immediately after, as he's in a convenience store buying a pack of cigs. As the MC is still thinking of the allure of smoking, he's spotted by Luna coming back from her work.

MC wonders why she always come back late at night and asks her about her job, if she works at a convenience store. She denies this, and mentions something, possibly her "uniform", being cute. MC does MC things and imagines Luna in certain outfits.

Luna spots an ice cream vending machine, and the readers get denied another truth (about her work). MC takes a huge bite off of Luna's ice cream, then the two reminisce about eating ice cream as kids, it turned out it was for Luna doing the same thing to him back then. MC apologizes and gives Luna his, and the first half of chapter 7 ends with Luna doing the ice cream blow.

Yup, this pretty much screams, she OWNS him, and will do whatever she likes to do with him.

Honestly, all of that is pretty normal "older sister" behaviour.

I'm probably going to be proven wrong on this later on, but I get the feeling that Hiba doesn't actually have a very good family situation. It might be that Hiba going with Luna to visit Naoto and his family was a way for her to get away from her family situation. It's possible she is/was a neglected child or her parents went through a divorce or something at the time.

I feel like this could explain the piercings, tattoo and smoking on her part. It's a pretty generic trope for characters to do things like that to lash out at their parents and try to get their attention.

It might even be possible that Hibas situation is part of the reason that Luna stopped visiting all together.

Good chance I'm going to be wrong about all of this though.

Luna's personality gives off the vibe that she would clap when the plane lands, so I get the feeling her excitement for seeing her friends every day is kind of normal.


I'm also guessing at this point Hiba probably isn't the third girl in the picture since we haven't gotten a panel showing her face as the third one. This makes me wonder if the third girl is an actual adult (someone in their 20's) and the last character to be introduced from the picture is going to be some kind of milf character.

Anyway, with the third one confirmed to be another one having a screw loose, i'm more and more convinced that Luna is just gaslighting MC, and we've got a case of "crazy girls harem" on our hands. Now, i don't have a plausible explanation for that "kiss" at the front door yet, but i still think she was doing it on purpose for MC to see.

PS: If you tried smoking, didn't like it, and then someone gives you smokes, telling that you were just doing it wrong or never smoked good cigarettes - don't believe them, it won't get better.
