Revised story: Sister gets assaulted and becomes the fuck buddy of the assaulter but Bro being nice and warm helps her get away from the rapist.

Re-revised story: initial same events but Bro is a bit yandere about protecting and correcting the Sister.

To be real fair, it is not rare to see stuff that was raunchy in original source to be sanitized once it hit commercial.

Like Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku was like mostly different in tones between all adaptations while the plot remain mostly the same.

It would probably be best to consider the manga serialization, the OG.......OG, and the Fantias as different timelines.

For me it's even better. In the original brother wanted to be a family and slowly but surely he did make sister be more open. But in this version while brother still wants to be a family, he's somewhat a "special" in understandig human emotions and human relationship as a whole. So yeah, new version is funnier.
