Really hoping they don't do anything stupid to try and get us to see his character-defining moment with Hebikawa in a different light. Kids can be so casually and impulsively cruel to one another, and in writing, it's just too tempting to make everything motivated and meaningful. Hebikawa's cruelty isn't one where she delights your trauma, it's one where it never even occurs to her. And if pushed on it later, she can't believe you let yourself get hurt by her dumb bullshit - that sounds like a YOU problem to her. I'd rather see her grow up than get explained away.
I've really respected that so far, she's been on her M. Bison and needed to reminded who he even was: The day Hebikawa looked him in the eyes and told her friends he was gross was the worst day of his life... but for her, it was Tuesday.
