I actually kinda liked this chapter. Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Kusunoki 110% but the gap-moe of a slightly crestfallen Hebikawa just hits me in a different kinda way man... XDXD

To me, the harem mechanic is pretty meh. I feel sorry for the 90% of the girls. However, not going to lie, I'm pretty happy at Shizuki slowly overcoming his phobia of girls, to the point of even being able to talk to his arch-nemesis!

Sure, that's violating someone's personal space, but not exactly something I'd personally say is malicious or intending to do harm. She was just curious, and I frankly liked that she did that in the open instead of her skulking around.

The FL also seems to have her own traumas, though I don't quite recall the details right now. She is the weakest of the trio, but still works as a foil to the snake girl. Precisely because of how pure she looks, snake girl wants to expose her, to show that it is just a mirage. Nobody can be that perfect, people like that need to be exposed, so that the snake girl's worldview and actions can be justified. And the FL is not perfect, but she isn't imperfect in the way snake girl thinks. She has flaws, but she isn't trying to hide them, nor is she using her attributes to manipulate others.

I have surprisingly few notes about Shizuka for her being the female lead 36 chapters in. She's not really that interesting of a character really.
