Honestly I'm kind of starting to get annoyed with Kusunoki. She was the bold one and now she's all meek and obnoxious. I hope the little girl wins at this point. Kusunoki lost her chance to shit or get off the pot.

I feel like not confessing is a better choice rather than confessing it.. I think Kusunoki as of now is still in dilemma herself about her feelings and her friends feelings is still clouding her.

So I suppose this confirms that Kusunoki doesn't know that Keisuke actually likes her, and also doesn't seem to suspect it being the case. Going by her thoughts while accepting the invitation to the shrine, anyway.

Keisuke getting hung up on "what if the past repeats itself" is a touch annoying, but is also understandable. Clearly he's not over Hebikawa's rejection of him before, but that stuff takes time, and he's only just starting to move forward where Hebikawa is concerned, anyway--insofar as letting go of the trauma he'd felt from the past once finding out that it meant nothing to her, and focusing instead on what he wants in the future.

Kusunoki being so focused on not hurting Otobe, leaves me wondering when this one-way triangle will be cracked open. It's very much the same setup as the last one Kusunoki experienced in grade school; Boy likes her, Friend likes Boy, she likes both as friends. She's slightly more hip to what's going on, unlike before, except she's still apparently wholly ignorant of the "Boy likes her" component.
The difference being, that Keisuke and Otobe aren't like those two from the past. So expecting them to react the same is understandable from a pattern-recognition standpoint, but it's also not being fair to Otobe and Keisuke as people & as her friends. I hope that Kusunoki opens up to Otobe sooner than later, because that is how she avoids repeating history. This passive wanting to run away from it entirely is only going to make problems all over again.

And she took a step forward in going with Keisuke today, but again--she needs to also talk with Otobe. As her fortune said--she's gotta be honest, even if things don't turn out the way she might want in the short-term.
I also think that unlike last time she does like the boy this time.

The main difference is, this time around, even though she doesn't see it herself...I think Kusonoki does have feelings for Keisuke already

I don't dislike Kusunoki, but I really do find the other two heroines drastically more interesting, especially Hebikawa. Otobe is cuter, Hebikawa has much more interesting drama and conflict around her (that is, she's basically the foundation of the parts that are more serious than fluffy slice of life.) This isn't the type of manga to go in that direction but Hebikawa being the final heroine would be a lot more interesting than another retelling of 'pure near-perfect airheaded girl who is a lovely cinammon roll that loves everyone gets confused and awkward over love but eventually falls in love.'
