HebiGOATwa carrying this entire manga still.

Jokes aside, this is actually one of those rare romcoms where every single character, including the protagonist even, carries their weight. Shizuki himself might even be my second favorite. I like every single one of the main cast, even if I like Hebi the most by a landslide. At least it won't be one of those 'oh god why her she's so terrible, why can't you like literally anyone else please' situations when Kusunoki is the victor. Just gotta enjoy the snake while I can...

And yes, I know, she's got a bit of a nasty personality in some ways... But she's actually not like, nasty nasty. At the moment she's messing with Moe and Kusunoki, but one day she's gonna realise she's actually dere for real and it's gonna be so cute. We're getting there, step by step.

Hebi only teased Shizuki just by offering him her food and Moe immediately exploded from that, all is fair in love and war blud. again even without hebi, sooner or later moe would realize kusunoki and shizuki had gone more intimate than she thought.
She is just "teasing" her yeah great defense. I guess when she traumatized the MC early on in his life she was just "teasing" him right? Her finding out eventually is inevitable, but hearing it come from someone who just declared themselves a "rival" is probably the worst way someone can realize something. Her framing of the entire thing was meant to be antagonistic. She did it with malice in mind.

Hebikawa invited Keisuke to have food and the other two girls came along themselves. Hearing from her now is way better than finding out that your best friend stole the guy you love despite her already knowing that you liked him and she never told you that she also liked him. What would be better? When Kusunoki tells her after she starts dating Keisuke already? Why didn’t Kusunoki not tell her the truth herself before all this?

also, we know that Snake is a mean girl, that’s her appeal.

This is a losing battle. Hebikawa has fandom immunity. Unless she literally stabs someone, everything she does will be brushed off as "not that bad." And even if she did stab someone, there would still be people defending her.

Hebikawa invited Keisuke to have food and the other two girls came along themselves, she then flirted with him. Hearing from her now is way better than finding out that tour best friend stole the guy you love despite her already knowing that you liked him and she never told you that she also liked him. What would be better? When Kusunoki tells her after she starts dating Keisuke already? Why didn’t Kusunoki not tell her the truth herself before all this?

So we are going to pretend she invited him to get food out of the kindness in her heart, and not just to antagonize the other two? Got it.

She flirted with him to antagonize the other two. She did everything deliberately to get a reaction out of the other two.

She didn't tell her because she was desperately trying to suppress those feelings she had. Did you even read that chapter, or skim it because the snake wasn't in it?

The problem with the "mean girl" appeal is it comes off as those cringe losers who post things like "I want her to step on me" just to feel different, but in reality they would curl up and die the second anything remotely S&M happens.

Hebikawa has a bigger defense force than the IDF atp. Holy glazers batman. I haven't seen this much snake defense since the last GI Joe movie. Someone needs to call Samuel L Jackson.

The shit Hebikawa is doing is like, the most mild ever villain shit. She's barely even an antagonist. You're obviously not meant to dislike her at this point. She's 'a bit questionable' at worst. She hasn't crossed any lines, at least not yet.

People mad at her would absolutely lose their fucking minds the second they encountered an actual nasty villain girl.
